FORT WAYNE -- Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Gregg stressed his commitment to bipartisan solutions for the economy during a Wednesday trip to Fort Wayne.
The former Indiana House speaker said he was able to work closely with Republicans during his tenure by listening and engaging the opposition. He vowed to do this as governor to help form policies that best help Hoosiers.
Those policies, he said, would be primarily focused on bringing jobs to the state and educating the state’s workforce to make them ready for those employment opportunities.
“We’ve got to be focused here in Indiana on nothing but jobs,” he said.
Gregg spoke at a Democratic luncheon event at VFW Post 857.
