RAPID CITY, S.D. -- The story of the game so far is the amount of scoring opportunities the Rapid City Rush has failed to capitalize on in the opening game of the best-of-seven Turner Conference Semifinals.

The score is 1-1 and the shots are 8-8.

Scott Wray opened the scoring for Rapid City, after a shot from the point by Riley Weselowski. It all came after the Komets couldn't get the line they wanted on the ice because they took too much time with their change.

Chris Auger tied it for Fort Wayne from the slot, after a setup by Mike Vaskivuo.
