  • Softball season ends
    Jessica Hall gave up only three hits to IPFW and the UCLA softball team defeated the Mastodons 8-0 on Saturday to end IPFW's season at the NCAA Regional in Louisville, Ky.
  • Mastodons to regionals
    IPFW senior Theresa McHugh and freshman Rachel Dincoff have earned spots at the NCAA East Region Preliminary Championships, which begins May 23 in Greensboro, N.C.
  • Softball players honored
    IPFW junior Ashleigh Bousquet and sophomore Larissa Franklin were named to the Summit League Softball Academic All-League team, as voted on by the schools’ faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.

Volleyball team snaps skid

The IPFW men’s volleyball team snapped a six-match losing streak with a 3-2 road win at Quincy Friday. The scores were 18-25, 28-26, 26-24, 19-25, 15-9. Ivan Matos had 26 kills for the Mastodons (11-12, 3-5 MIVA). Ramon Burgos had 12 kills and Adam Quinn had 49 assists.
