Jennifer Lawson gets to know a Labrador retriever puppy she adopted Friday during Mega Match-A-Thon, sponsored by ASPCA at Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control. Adoption fees were $10 for cats and $45 for dogs. People were also able to adopt and take home their pet on the same day. Lawson named her new pup Castiel. This pet adoption event continues from noon to 8 p.m. today at Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control, 3020 Hillegas Road, and at HOPE for Animals, 1333 Maycrest Drive.
