Democratic dinner

Republicans aren’t the only ones bringing big names to the region for dinner.

The Third District Democratic Party recently announced its guests for the annual spring dinner fund raiser. The guest speakers are Congressman Joe Donnelly; Nancy Guyott, president of Indiana AFL-CIO; Dan Parker, state party chairman; and Kevin Boyd, who is running for Congress in the district.

The Allen County Republican Party is having an event with Sen. Richard Lugar and Indiana Treasurer Richard Mourdock later that week.

The Democratic event will be 5:30 p.m. April 28 at the Eagle Glen Event Center in Columbia City. Tickets are $35. More information about the event can be found at www.indems3.org.
