FORT WAYNE – The westbound curb lane on St. Joseph Center Road is scheduled to traffic at Clinton Street on the east approach, beginning Wednesday.

The Fort Traffic Engineering Department announced Tuesday that NIPSCO will repair a gas valve, closing the lane between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Friday.

It said a single lane will be available for westbound through and right-turning traffic.

The department encouraged drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes or allow for longer travel times.
