    The D-League will hold its annual national tryouts June 15 in New York. The one-day event will see 200 hopefuls in full-court games in front of team executives, coaches and scouts.
  • Howard, Smith work at Development League camp
    Mad Ants guard Ron Howard and center Tommy Smith accepted invitations to the NBA Development League Elite Mini Camp, which started Monday and runs through Tuesday in Chicago.
  • Record year for D-League
    It wasn't only the Mad Ants that made 2012-13 their best season; the rest of the NBA Development League had a record-setting year, as well.

Ants rally in 4th to charge past Canton

With five players scoring in double figures, the Mad Ants recovered from a nine-point deficit at the end of three quarters to post a 98-84 victory at Canton, Ohio, on Wednesday.

After leading 33-22 at the end of the first quarter, the Ants fell behind 78-69 going into the fourth quarter, but outscored the Charge 29-16 in the final period to win their third game since February.

The Ants entered the game on a two-game losing streak, and have won three of their last 22 games.

Cam Jones led the Ants (13-35) with 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the floor. Stephen Graham had 15 points, Ron Howard had 14, Charles Garcia had 13 and Ramon Harris, 10. And although 6-foot-10 center Vernon Macklin was held to eight points, he added 12.rebounds and five assists.

The Ants, who conclude their D-League season with back-to-back games against Dakota on Friday and Saturday, hit 38 of 71 shots for a .535 percentage.

Former Notre Dame standout Luke Harangody led Canton (26-22) with 20 points and 11 rebounds.
