A multi-jurisdictional drug investigation last week led to the arrest of five people in Kosciusko County.
Officers arrested one woman and four men after a drug sting operation in Fulton County.
Deputies and detectives arrested the men on drug warrants shortly before 7 a.m. Tuesday, the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department said in a statement.
It said county detectives arrested Michelle Lee Blankenship, 41, of the 5100 block of West Corly's Lane, Silver Lake, on Friday evening. She was preliminarily charged with dealing a controlled substance and her bond was set at $250,000.
Her arrest followed an operation last week involving the Fulton County and Kosciusko County sheriff's departments and the Indiana State Police.
Kosciusko detectives and Drug Task Force members got information that led to Tuesday's arrests of the following men on preliminary charges of dealing and possession of a controlled substance: Travis James Lewis, 18, of Silver Lake; Michael Anthony Lewis, 20, of Silver Lake; Bret Alan Cooper, 18, of Mentone; and Dakota Ray Wallace, 22, of Akron.
Bond was set at $100,000 for each.
All of the charges were connected to prescription medications, the sheriff's department said. More arrests are expected in both Fulton and Kosciusko counties.
