TinCaps lead after three innings

Fort Wayne leads Lake County 2-1 after three innings Thursday at Parkview Field.

Lake County scored its run in the first inning.

Francisco Lindor reached on a fielder's choice. He stole second and then moved to third on a passed ball. He eventually scored on another passed ball.

Frank Garces has five strikeouts. He's given up one hit and has walked one.

Fort Wayne scored twice in the third inning. Austin Hedges drew a one-out walk. Felix Sterling then hit Alberth Martinez with a pitch.

Jace Peterson then doubled to left field. Hedges and Martinez scored to give the TinCaps a 2-1 lead. Peterson has a single and a double in the game.
