Traffic stop leads to Warsaw pot bust

Two teens were arrested this week after police caught them with marijuana during a traffic stop, the Warsaw Police Department said in a statement.

An off-duty Warsaw police officer saw the teens riding a moped without a headlight Tuesday in a Winona Lake neighborhood.

Police said the teens, ages 16 and 17, were pulled over, and marijuana was found on them. Both were arrested and later released to their parents.

The 16-year-old was charged with felony marijuana possession, and the 17-year-old faces a misdemeanor charge of marijuana possession.
