Lake County defeats Fort Wayne

Lake County scored four runs in the first inning and three more in the second on the way to a 9-1 victory over Fort Wayne in front of 4,184 fans Saturday at Parkview Field.

Joe Ross gave up six earned runs on seven hits in 1 1/3 innings.

Jace Peterson doubled and scored on a single by Donavan Tate for Fort Wayne's only run.
