End of the line

At last, the end is near.

The Mad Ants play Dakota tonight at Memorial Coliseum to put an end to their NBA D-League season that has been the most dreadful in team history.

Fort Wayne brings a 13-36 record into its game with the Wizards, and the Ants have already clinched the worst record in the D-League.

The Ants endured a 10-game losing streak in all of February, won their first game in March, then proceeded to lose seven in a row.

The longest winning streak was two, accomplished twice. The Ants won their first two games of the season, then beat Canton and Bakersfield on Jan. 7 and 9.

That's 49 down, and one to go.
