Area crashes delay travelers on I-69

Two separate crashes Friday afternoon closed lanes of Interstate 69 near Fort Wayne, according to the Indiana State Police.

A collision involving at least two vehicles about 1 p.m. shut down the left lane of northbound I-69, north of Fort Wayne near the 120 mile marker, for almost 45 minutes. No injuries were reported.

About 1:50 p.m., a rollover crash on northbound I-69 north of Markle near the 88 mile marker, closed the right lane while the scene was cleared, police said.

A motorist in that crash was treated at Lutheran Hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening, Huntington County authorities said.
