What Ferras had to say

Here's what Rapid City Rush coach Joe Ferras had to say about his team's 4-1 victory over the Komets, who lead the best-of-seven Turner Conference semifinals 3-2.

"There's no quit in either of these teams. We know that. We've been around the block too much, both teams, and the compete level there. … Let's put this way: If you were watching the game as a paid spectator, you guys are getting great hockey. We know that, and that's not gonna stop."

"If you asked (Komets coach Al Sims), if he's honest, he knew it was gonna be a long series before it started and we know there's two very good hockey clubs."

"We changed the lines up a little bit trying to get a little different look from those guys. It's tough. We've all coached long enough. It's tough to get the matchups when you're the road team that you want, but it's real easy to get it when you're the home team. So we just tried to get a different look against them."

"In the third period we knew we were playing a solid game, we just had to stick with our game plan. We've got to get traffic in front of (Nick) Boucher. Both goalies are so good. These are as good as they get."
