Happy day to hunt Easter eggs

Triple Pointe Church held an Easter egg hunt on Saturday at Hickory Center Elementary, to the delight of these 4- to-7-year-olds.

Sunny skies and plenty of Easter egg hunts made for a great day for kids across the area on Saturday.

Triple Pointe Church sponsored its third annual Easter egg hunt at Hickory Center Elementary School.

Another Easter egg hunt was sponsored by the Waynedale Community Improvement Team. The second annual event, held at Waynedale Park, also featured pictures with the Easter Bunny, a raffle, and – of course – plenty of candy.

In an effort to help the environment, the event will recycle the plastic eggs for use at next year’s hunt.
