Statement as issued Monday:
(Fort Wayne, Ind.) – Thanks to funding provided by the Foellinger Foundation, six Fort Wayne venues will collaborate to launch a marketing campaign with the goal of attracting new promoters and artists to Fort Wayne’s stages. Partner venues include: Arts United Center, Embassy Theatre, Foellinger Outdoor Theater, Parkview Field, IPFW Rhinehart Music Center and USF Performing Arts Center.
The year-long campaign will target national and regional talent promoters with a cohesive venue marketing platform to present the variety of venue options in Fort Wayne. The cornerstone of the campaign is a portal website, www.fortwaynevenues.com, providing information on the city and each venue’s amenities. Visit Fort Wayne will maintain and host the website, which was designed by Asher Agency. The campaign will also feature direct marketing and trade advertising in Pollstar, the leading concert industry publication.
Key selling points for Fort Wayne’s stages include:
- Unique venues with range of seating capacities and amenities
- 700,000 ticket buyers within 30 minutes
- Affordable media and rental pricing
- Great Midwest routing

As the former Scottish Rite Center, the USF Performing Arts Center preserves a long and diverse entertainment venue history. To be in the same group as these other great venues is tremendous,” said Fort Wayne TinCaps president Mike Nutter. “Hopefully, this will get more great entertainment to the Summit City. We applaud the group of folks that has come together as one group to represent our concert and entertainment industry. There is so much that is great about Fort Wayne and this group will help showcase our venues to everyone outside of Fort Wayne.”

Funding for the Fort Wayne Venues collaboration is provided by a renewing organizations grant from Foellinger Foundation. This grant encouraged organizations “to build innovative, dynamic and adaptive organizational cultures using a game-changing mindset.”
