Dore goes on DL

Just three games into the season, the TinCaps have taken an injury hit.

The club announced today that infielder Jose Dore was placed on the disabled list, effective Monday. He appeared in all three games so far for For Wayne, going 4 for 12. He hit .199 for the TinCaps in 50 games last year.

To replace him, the TinCaps will get infielder Duanel Jones from extended spring training. Jones, 19, was signed as a non-drafted free agent in 2010. He hit .248 in 55 games for Arizona and Class-A Eugene last year.
