  • Drowning victim identified
    A 37-year-old Fort Wayne man has been identified as the victim of an accidental drowning in the St. Marys River Tuesday night, the Allen County coroner's office said today.

Rewards offered in pharmacy robberies

Two separate cash rewards of up to $2,500 each are being offered for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the following Walgreen's pharmacy robberies:

  • 11932 Lima Road about 6:20 p.m. Dec. 29. The suspect is described as a white woman, about 5-feet-4 to 5-feet-6 and between 120 and 140 pounds. She wore a blue jacket, red hoodie, jeans and black shoes with white laces.
  • 5435 E. Dupont Road (Indiana 1) about 6 p.m. Nov. 29. The suspect is described as a white man with a thin build in his early 20s. He wore a gray hoodie with the words “Black Sabbath Ironman” on it, and a black and white hat with “McAllister” on it.
The rewards are being donated by pharmaceutical company Purdue Pharma LP, which operates RxPATROL, a collaborative effort among industry, pharmacists and law enforcement to collect, collate, analyze and disseminate information in an effort to prevent and solve such crimes.
