With this video, I had to start by tracking down an episode of the original Three Stooges. I really didn't remember much about them from my childhood. I decided I needed to know a little about them if I was going to ask other people about them.
I then needed to find a venue with lots of people who weren't in a hurry to get somewhere. I chose an open house at Parkview Field. People were waiting in line for food, the elevator to tour the suites, and to hit baseballs. Everyone was willing to tell me what they knew or didn't know about the Three Stooges and I must of talked to around 50 people. It takes quite a few people when you are asking about something not everyone remembers much about. Although once people view this new movie at the theater, that will change.
I shot with a Kodak Zi8 on a monopod. Some spots are a little more shaky than I wanted, but I wanted to be able to shoot fast. The immediate response is usually the most interesting, and I didn't want to miss that. I also used a microphone. There was loud music in the background and it was very important to hear what people were saying.
