A man died Friday night after losing control of his motorcycle, hitting a curb and crashing in Waynedale, according to Fort Wayne police.
Police said the motorcyclist was going east in the 2800 block of Lower Huntington Road, near Elzey Street, when the crash occurred.
Emergency crews were dispatched about 8:20 p.m. The man, who was not named, was unconscious and unresponsive when police arrived.
He was not wearing a helmet.
The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead.
Lower Huntington Road was closed until shortly after 10:30 p.m. while police investigated the crash.
