TinCaps lead after three innings

Fort Wayne leads Dayton 1-0 after three innings at Parkview Field. Kyle Gaedele hit a home run to center field in the second inning for the game's only run.

Fort Wayne pitcher Frank Garces has not allowed a hit. But he has walked five. He was able to wiggle out of trouble in the first and third innings.

Ryan Wright, a Homestead graduate, is 0 for 2. He flew out to right in the first inning and lined out to center field in the third.
