AP source: No drugs found in agents' hotel rooms

By KEN THOMASAssociated Press

Secret Service investigators have interviewed all the maids and cleaning ladies at the Cartagena hotel where 11 agents were staying when they allegedly brought prostitutes back to their rooms. A person familiar with the investigation says the hotel workers told investigators they found no drugs or drug paraphernalia in the rooms of the agents.

The Secret Service has been investigating charges that the agents brought prostitutes back to their hotel in Colombia last week, before the arrival of President Barack Obama for a summit with Latin American leaders.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to speak publicly about the ongoing probe.

The Secret Service said Wednesday that three employees are out of the agency in the aftermath of the prostitution scandal.
