The TinCaps committed a season-high four errors in a 9-4 loss to Dayton Wednesday at Parkview Field.

Here are the highlights.

Key at-bat: Junior Arias hit a three-run home run in the fourth inning to give the Dragons a 4-1 lead. Dayton led the rest of the way.

Local connection: Ryan Wright, a Homestead graduate, went 1 for 4 with one RBI for Dayton. Wright was 4 for 14 with two RBI in the series.

Turning it on: Justin Miller had two hits for Fort Wayne. He went 3 for 4 on Tuesday. Miller's batting average increased 100 points in the series (from .143 to .243). He is now hitting in the No. 2 spot of the lineup.

Miscues: Three of Fort Wayne's four errors came during a four-run seventh inning for the Dragons. Fort Wayne has 20 errors this season.

Ross update: Joe Ross, the No. 25 pick in the 2011 draft, gave up five runs on six hits in five innings. He struck out three and walked two.
