Mourdock loses database access

Indiana Republican Party officials are apparently miffed at U.S. Senate candidate Richard Mourdock.

The Associated Press is reporting that an unnamed person said the GOP has revoked Mourdock's access to a database of voter information.

The AP reported Wednesday that it obtained a March 14 email written by Mourdock campaign manager Jim Holden in which he wrote that Mourdock staffers should "start pillaging email addresses" from the database.

State Republican officials met Wednesday to discuss the incident, but GOP Chairman Eric Holcomb declined to comment to AP reporter Tom LoBianco.

State Treasurer Mourdock is challenging six-term Sen. Richard Lugar in the May 8 Republican primary election.
