Canterbury coach to contribute blog

Already a published author with a book about a state championship run, Canterbury girls basketball coach Scott Kreiger will be doing more writing over the next few months with an online journal about coaching the Indiana All-Stars that will appear on the “Preps Plus” blog at www.journalgazette.net.

Kreiger, who has guided the Cavaliers to four Class A state titles in the last five years, will write about items such as finding out about being the coach, selecting the team and preparing to play Kentucky in June. The first post was Tuesday, and here is an excerpt:

“For a high school basketball coach in the state of Indiana … there is no bigger individual honor than to be selected as the coach of the team for the annual Indiana-Kentucky All-Star Series … the range of emotions rolled through stunned to excited to anxious to pensive before finally landing back on excited.”
