Open for business after some renovations

City officials unveiled new playground equipment and picnic tables Wednesday at Fort Wayne Safety Village near the Public Safety Academy. The new playground replaces the original set, which was installed when the facility was built in 1991. Fort Wayne spent $29,753 in income tax revenue to construct the play area.
