Kmart pharmacist IDs heist suspect

A Fort Wayne man is accused of robbing a pharmacy of painkillers in February.

Scott K. Jordan, 40, of the 2900 block of Monroe Street, was charged Tuesday with robbery. He has not been arrested.

On Feb. 24, Jordan went into the Kmart at 7530 S. Anthony Blvd. and gave a note to a pharmacist demanding the painkillers methadone and Dilaudid, court records said.

The pharmacist told Jordan he had no Dilaudid and gave him a bottle of 100 methadone pills, court records stated. Police found his fingerprints on the note. Also, the pharmacist picked Jordan out of a photo lineup, court papers said.
