Tuck to visit Lynch, report says

There appears to be one more act left in Aaron Lynch's separation from Notre Dame.

Justin Tuck, the former Irish defensive lineman and two-time Super Bowl champion with the New York Giants, told the South Bend Tribune on Friday he planned to talk to Lynch about the sophomore-to-be defensive end's decision to leave Notre Dame.

Tuck's drop-in on Lynch appears to be prompted by a tweet from Lynch's mother, Alice.

Alice Lynch posted on her Twitter account @AliceLynce1 to Tuck @JustinTuckNYG91: "Please go to Zahm Hall and tell my son Aaron what a bad decision he is making by leaving ND. Thank you."

Tuck, who is in South Bend for Saturday's Blue-Gold game, told the Tribune he wouldn't try to persuade Lynch to stay but would find out what the defensive end is thinking.

Coach Brian Kelly said last Friday that Lynch had left the team and is finishing the spring semester before transferring to a school in Florida.
