K's leading 3-0

Wel, Komets' top line of Colin Chaulk, Mike Vaskivuo and Chris Auger needed to step up tonight.

And it has.

Vaskivuo and Chaulk both scored off rebounds early in the second period, and the Komets lead the Missouri Mavericks 3-0 heading into the third at Memorial Coliseum.

The Mavericks lead the series 3-2.

The Komets are playing a little too passive now, if you ask me, but the Mavericks seem like the life has been sucked out of them.

This game could easily be 8-0, were it not for goalie Charlie Effinger.
