Drive-through pharmacies get bomb threats, robbery

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus police say bomb threats were made around the same time at three pharmacies, including one where the caller ordered a pharmacist to put bottles of painkillers in a drive-through window before the drugs were scooped up by someone who fled the scene.

Police said the threats were made Tuesday night against three Walgreen's pharmacies that are west of downtown Columbus, about two miles apart.

At one, the caller said there was a bomb at the back door and a man with a gun in the store. The caller told the pharmacist to put bottles of painkillers in the drive-through window and then turn around. Police say a male in a dark jacket and gray sweatshirt took the drugs.

Police said there were no robberies at the other two stores.
