Dates, times for Finals set

The Komets open the CHL's Presidents' Cup finals at Wichita at 8:05 p.m. Fort Wayne time Saturday, the team announced today.

The best-of-seven series will follow a 2-3-2 format; Wichita has home-ice advantage because it had the league's best regular-season record.

The schedule (all times Fort Wayne time):

  • Game 1 -- Saturday, April 28, at Wichita, 8:05 p.m.;
  • Game 2 -- Sunday, April 29, at Wichita, 6:05 p.m.;
  • Game 3 -- Thursday, May 3, at Fort Wayne, 7:30 p.m.;
  • Game 4 -- Saturday, May 5, at Fort Wayne, 8:15 p.m.;
  • Game 5 (if necessary) -- Monday, May 7, at Fort Wayne, 7:30 p.m.;
  • Game 6 (if necessary) -- Friday, May 11, at Wichita, 8:05 p.m.;
  • Game 7 (if necessary) -- Saturday, May 12, at Wichita, 8:05 p.m.
Tickets for the first two Komet home games May 3 and 5 are on sale at the Coliseum ticket office and online at ticketmaster.com. Finals tickets for season-ticket holders will be available at the Komet offices starting at 10 a.m. Monday.
