Hard freeze warning

The National Weather Service has issued a hard freeze warning until 10 a.m. today for the Indiana counties of Adams, Allen, Blackford, Cass, DeKalb, Elkhart, Fulton, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, LaPorte, LaGrange, Marshall, Miami, Noble, Pulaski, St. Joseph, Starke, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, White and Whitley.

A hard freeze warning means that sub-freezing temperatures are imminent.

Temperatures this morning will be in the upper 20s and lower 30s as a ridge of high pressure lingers over the area. Temperatures could dip to 26 degrees in locally colder spots.

Any temperature sensitive plants should be protected from freezing temperatures.
