A taxi driver was arrested Friday morning at a downtown bus station for selling marijuana from his cab, Fort Wayne police said.
Jeremiah Hopkins, 34, was booked on three felonies: possessing more than 30 grams of marijuana and two counts of dealing marijuana.
A two-week investigation preceded Hopkins arrest at 10 a.m. Friday at the Citilink bus station at Superior and Calhoun streets.
Hopkins was in his cab and had a little over a quarter-pound of marijuana with him, authorities said. He dealt marijuana from his cab at least once, police said.
Investigators do not believe the taxi company that employed Hopkins knew he was dealing drugs.
Hopkins, of the 2700 block of Priscilla Lane, was held at the Allen County Lockup in lieu of $7,500 bail.
