Komets win Game 2

WICHITA, Kan. -- For the second straight night at Intrust Bank Arena, forward Chris Auger scored twice to lead the Komets to a victory over the Wichita Thunder in the President's Cup finals.

This time, the Komets prevailed 6-3 to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series that restarts Thursday at Memorial Coliseum, where Games 3, 4 and 5 (if necessary) will be.

The Komets also got goals from Bobby Chaumont, Mike Vaskivuo, Jean-Michel Rizk and Daniel Maggio.
