Russo interview

Wichita goalie Adam Russo, who is going to miss his second straight game with a concussion tonight, gave an interview on the facebook page of Shane Ewing, a reporter with KAKE-TV in Wichita.

He suffered the injury on this shot -- click here -- and had this to say:

"It didn't have a huge effect on me at the time, but everything started to slow down. The play just wasn't the same as it was before. It's not an excuse. They scored two goals after that. But I wasn't moving fast enough and nothing was right. (Coach Kevin McClelland) was going to pull me anyway. ... It was a situation I needed to get out of the net. I should have pulled myself after it happened. ... I'm kind of mad at myself and the whole situation."

Russo said he asked if he could play tonight but was told no because he didn't have clearance from doctors.
