Northrop will be able to play for a third straight SAC tournament title after all.

The two-time defending SAC tournament champion Bruins had a scheduling conflict arise when they accepted a bid to play in the Hall of Fame Classic on Dec. 28.

The SAC tournament was originally scheduled to run on that same date.

Now the SAC tournament will be Dec. 26-27 and 29, allowing Northrop to also play in the HOF Classic. On Dec. 29, only the championship games will be played with the girls at 6 p.m. and the boys around 7:45 p.m.

Northrop will play Indianapolis Tech in the HOF Classic in New Castle at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 28. Indianapolis Cathedral and Jay County will play in the first semifinal game at 11 a.m. The championship is set for 8 p.m., preceded by the 6 p.m. consolation game.
