Game tied after six innings

Thursday's game between Fort Wayne and South Bend is tied at 2 after six innings at Parkview Field.

The TinCaps scored their second run on a ground out in the fourth inning. Travis Whitmore singled, reached second on a fielding error by third baseman Matt Helm and moved to third on a bunt by Matt Colantonio. Kyle Gaedele brought him home on a ground out to short.

South Bend tied the game in the fifth. Ryan Court led of the inning with a triple. He scored when Ender Inciarte grounded out to second.
