  • Some updates for you
I don't have anything new to report on the alleged merger between the ECHL and CHL -- wouldn't it actually be an absorption of the CHL?
  • 18 Komets road games on TV this season
Eighteen Komets road games this season will be broadcast live on MyTV Fort Wayne. Play-by-play duties will be handled by 21 Alive’s Tommy Schoegler and Kent Hormann.
  • Komets sign three players
The Komets added goaltender Eric Levine, forward Nicola Levesque and defenseman Paul Arnott to their roster Tuesday, giving them 24 players so far for the upcoming season.

Keepsakes from the postseason

For those of you wanting to purchase some keepsakes of the Komets' CHL championship, we have some things available.

If you would like to purchase an 11x17 reprint of The Journal Gazette sports front the day after the Komets clinched the Presidents' Cup or either of the two photo pages from our Friday special section, you can.

We offer plain-paper reproductions at $5 each or $10 for all three.

For more money, you can also purchase these on higher-quality photo paper.

Any of the photo galleries you have seen on can be put on a CD for $25.

Contact Tom Pellegrene at or call 260-461-8377.

I have some plans to make videos available as keepsakes and will announce the plans for that in the next few days.
