Clark Murphy and Casey McElroy hit home runs in the eighth inning as the TinCaps rallied to beat the Whitecaps 5-4 in front of 4,384 fans Tuesday at Parkview Field.

Fort Wayne trailed 4-3 going into to the eighth. Murphy led off with a home run to deep right field to tie the game. Melvin Mercedes retired the next two hitters, but McElroy then put the TinCaps ahead with a home run to right field.
