Komets moving to ECHL, sources confirm

The Komets have scheduled a news conference for Thursday afternoon, and though they haven't disclosed the reason for it, sources confirmed they will officially announce their decision to join the ECHL.

A similar news conference has been scheduled for Thursday in Evansville, where the same announcement will be made regarding the IceMen.

The Komets recently won the Presidents' Cup in just their second CHL season.
