TinCaps rally for win

Travis Whitmore knocked in Yeison Asencio with a two-out single to right field in the ninth inning to give the TinCaps a 2-1 victory against Bowling Green in front of 5,853 fans Sunday at Parkview Field.

Lee Orr tied the game with a one-out home run to right field in the ninth. Asencio singled and Austin Hedges walked. Duanel Jones flew out to center for the second out.

Whitmore followed with a hit to right field. Asencio scored to snap a three-game losing streak.
