Bowling Green scored seven runs in the eight inning on the way to an 11-2 victory against the TinCaps in front of 6,193 fans Saturday at Parkview Field.

Key hit: Jeff Malm singled home Jake Hager to give the Hot Rods a 3-2 lead in the eighth inning. It was the first of seven runs in the inning for Bowling Green.
Key out(s): Fort Wayne had a 2-0 lead and runners on first and third with one out in the second inning. Kyle Gaedele struck out for the second out. Duanel Jones was later thrown out attempting to steal second to end the inning.
Back-to-back: Fort Wayne's Lee Orr and Yeison Asencio hit back home runs in the second inning. It's the first time the TinCaps hit consecutive home runs since Aug. 3, 2010.
