Bowling Green tops Fort Wayne

Bowling Green scored seven runs in the eighth inning on the way to an 11-2 victory against the TinCaps in front of 6,193 fans Saturday at Parkview Field.

Taylor Motter had a three-run triple in the inning. The seven runs are the most the team has surrendered in an inning this season.

Lee Orr and Yeison Asencio hit back-to-back home runs in the second inning for Fort Wayne. The TinCaps had just three hits in the contest.
