I want to pick Tony Kanaan, on account of he's one of the best guys in IndyCar racing and the place frankly owes him.
I'm tempted to pick James Hinchcliffe or Josef Newgarden or -- how about this? -- Rubens Barrichello, because I like how outside-the-box feels.
Ryan Hunter-Reay wouldn't be a bad pick. Marco Andretti might be a smart one, because he's run well all month and he always gets to the front. And Scott Dixon or Dario Franchitti might be a crafty pick, because even though the Hondas they run have been dominated by the Chevies so far, that might not be the case Sunday.
But on a day that might be the hottest in Indianapolis 500 history .... and a day when no one knows if any of these new Chevies or Hondas or Lotuses can even go 500 miles, let alone in 96-degree heat .... and on a day when, even more than usual, you can say this thing is impossible to call ....
I'm going with the most known quantity out there.
I'm going with three-time winner Helio Castroneves to make it four.
