New 3Rivers branch adds high-tech touches

FORT WAYNE – 3Rivers Federal Credit Union today unveiled technology designed to provide easily accessible information, speed up loan applications and eliminate paper.

The Fort Wayne-based credit union has outfitted its new branch in the Shoppes at Scott Road with technology including a 65-inch touch screen monitor in the lobby. The location near the corner of Illinois and Scott roads was formerly a Tower Bank branch. 3Rivers opened in that spot two weeks ago.

Additional branch upgrades include private meeting rooms where members can meet with bankers while consulting large computer monitors for product information. 3Rivers’ computer system also allows members to sign loan forms and other legal documents electronically.

CEO Jeff Meyer said the technology investment prepares the credit union to serve members now and in the future.

“Today we’re proud to display a model we believe will not only improve collaboration among our team, but will also make our financial solutions more relatable and accessible to the changing needs of individuals, families and businesses throughout our community,” he said in a written statement.
