Huntington North beats Carroll again

Huntington North beat Carroll to open the season, and the ended the Chargers' campaign with a win in the Class 4A regional Tuesday.

In the opener, the Vikings won 4-3 and in the finale (at least for Carroll) the final count was 8-0.

What was the difference in the two games?

"We happened to hit shots and hit the holes, and they were struggling a little bit with the bats," Huntington North coach Paris Seibold said. "They are a good team."

Huntington North (21-7) is headed to the semistate Saturday at Harrison (West Lafayette), while Carroll (14-13) is done for the year.
