FORT WAYNE – The Allen County SPCA will offer low-cost microchips for cats and dogs several times this summer.
The first session will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 16 at the shelter, 4914 Hanna St., according to a statement issued by the organization.
It said any spayed or neutered cat or dog can get a microchip for $15, while supplies last.
The process takes about five minutes.
The SPCA asks owners to bring proof of spaying or neutering, and to have the pet restrained on a leash or in a carrier.
