Firefighters were called to 6126 Chaddsford Drive about 10:20 a.m. and found a fire on the outside of the home that was extending into the attic, the Fort Wayne Fire Department said in a statement.
The fire was controlled within 14 minutes, resulting in moderate water damage and minor smoke and fire damage to the one-story home, the statement said. It remains under investigation.
