Adys Portillo is the starting pitcher for the TinCaps in Game 1 of a doubleheader against Great Lakes Friday at Parkview Field.

Portillo earned Midwest League Pitcher of the Week honors Tuesday. He is 3-2 this season with a Midwest League-best 1.48 ERA.

Fort Wayne also announced a roster move before the game. San Diego released pitcher Yordany Ramirez. Outfielder Mykal Stokes joined the TinCaps from extended spring training.
