Auburn trailer park fight ends in death of man, 45

A 45-year-old man died after a fight in Auburn earlier this week, but a cause of death has not been ruled.

Officers with the Auburn Police Department went to the area of Bryan Avenue in the West Edge Mobile Home Park on Thursday evening in response to a report of battery.

While en route, officers were told two men were fighting but had stopped and separated. Before police arrived, though, one man involved in the fight collapsed, police said.

Auburn firefighters and DeKalb emergency crews responded to the scene and began treating the man, who was taken to a hospital, where he died. The cause of death has not been determined.

Police found the other man involved in the fight at the mobile home park. Officers took him to a hospital, where he was treated for injuries. Neither of the men has been identified by police.

No charges have been filed in the fight or death.
